Overview:

History, nightlife, beach resorts and cultural diversity, you’ll find it all in cosmopolitan Kota Kinabalu, the capital city of Sabah. A chance to get to know the city in general, visit places of interest and learn its historical background. Your trip to Sabah won’t be complete without a trip to Kinabalu Park – M’sia 1^st UNESCO World Heritage Site to view the majestic Mt Kinabalu and its scenic countryside. Experience a stroll over forest canopy on a 45 meters high Canopy walkway before having a hot bath at Poring Hot Spring.

                                  

Suggested program:

Day One: ARRIVAL KOTA KINABALU – KUNDASANG (L,D)

AM - Meet at KKIA and transfer to local air-conditioned restaurant for lunch. Continue with a scenic drive through hill country to the southern boundary of Sabah’s oldest park and Malaysia’s 1^st World Heritage Site. Along the way, photo stop at Nabalu fruits and gifts market ideal for group or family photograph with the majestic Mt Kinabalu at the backdrop. Check-in at Celyn Resort or similar. The rest of the day, enjoy the cool climate of Kundasang and its sweeping vistas.  Dinner and overnight stay at resort.

Day Two: PORING HOT SPRING & KINABALU PARK – NIGHT MARKET (B,L,SEAFOOD D)

Breakfast at hotel.  A short ride to Poring Hot Spring. After we register, experience walking on a hanging bridge from tree to tree. Later soak yourself in the hot springs believe to have therapeutic benefits for skin care. Return to resort for lunch and check-out. Continue to Kinabalu Park and visit its exhibition center and to the starting point for Mt. Climbing at Timpohon Gate (applicable to FIT only) At 1500 hours, return to your hotel in Kota Kinabalu. Evening, transfer to local air-conditioned Seafood restaurant for dinner. Proceed to visit nearby Kg Air night market. Return on your own to your hotel for overnight stay.

Day Three: CITY TOUR - DEPARTURE KOTA KINABALU (B)

Breakfast at hotel. Check-out from hotel and proceed to visit places of interest around the city such as the Sabah Foundation, Likas Floating Mosque, University Malaysia Sabah (UMS), Likas Village, Chinese Temple, Coffee factory, Bird Eye’s view at Signal Hill, City Centre (Filipino Market), State Museum, State Mosque and Tanjung Aru Beach. Transfer straight for flight departure home.
